A cheetah at wildlife preserve in Santa Rosa has tested positive for the H1N1 virus, making if the first exotic animal in the U.S. to have the virus.Caretakers at the Safari West Wildlife Preserve and African Tent Camp started testing Gijima, an 8-year-old cheetah, after it became lethargic and showed no interest in food starting Nov. 15.Because Gijima's symptoms were similar to that of a house cat, doctors wanted to have her tested for H1N1.The tests turned up positive, making Gijima the first cheetah in the U.S. to contract H1N1.
