It is evil that the Aboriginal communities were ever targeted, and are STILL being targeted, to have MORE injections - all the time. They're STILL trying to kill them off!! This post is a case in point!
We have people left, right and centre today saying this little blurb: "We pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land, past, present and future..." - but they still take their babies, they still kill Aboriginals, are horrid to them, jab them extra, incarcerate them extra - and then some. It makes me SICK that we treat Aboriginals this way. Every time I hear someone saying "we respect the traditional custodians..." I want to yell at them and ask if they respect them in any other ways other than lip service and are they aware that the govts are still trying to do them and their way of life in?!?!
Sorry for my little rant. I feel rather passionately about this.
I agree with you, Robyn. And several of the originals I know say that this is part of a land-grab. They are killing off the elders and those who might lay claim to the land in order to take it off of those who are currently living on it. It is pure evil like so much of what the government does.
