I was a big supporter of Dr Phillip Nietzschke (I'm sure I've slaughtered the spelling of his name) and have always believed that when a person is in a hopeless situation and dying anyway, they should be able to take their own life IF THAT IS THEIR DECISION. When UK death boards and MAID in Canada appeared however, it became a whole other story. Nobody should be pushed into suicide for financial expedience or because they happen to be depressed at the time. Our lives are OURS and allowing a third party who doesn't care one jot about us to take it away in the name of 'helping us' it is simply murder.

I'm glad the book got there safely :-) Enjoy!

Sadly, it is situations such as this the anti euthanasia contingent foresaw as they vigorously strove to prevent this law being passed. We are only just starting to see the consequences of euthanasia being made legal. Behind the humanitarian facade is an agenda of depopulation and financial gain. The dignity and suffering of humanity means nothing to ‘them’.
