My Submission to the Public Consultation of the Discussion Paper Towards the National Immunisation Strategy 2025-30
Is it like pissing in the wind to make this submission? Who knows! But at least I did it. Hopefully you will too. Strength in numbers.
Yesterday, I shared a link where anyone can make a submission to give input into the future vaccination strategy in Australia. It is a survey - not a written submission, which is easier in some ways and harder in others.
Each question has a multiple choice component followed by a place to write more. That written section is limited to 300 characters (I’m assuming that includes spaces) so I had Microsoft Word open on my computer and copied and pasted each text section in to make sure it didn’t go over that limit.
I didn’t really hold back - especially since I have a feeling that somehow, they’re really not interested in my opinion but are just going through the motions. But if enough of us answer the surveys - even if we only answer the multiple choice parts and don’t do anything else, it just might make them think…maybe they aren’t really supported by the Australian public? You never know.
My response is below and under that is a link to the article I wrote about this if you’d like to read more. The link to make submissions is here.

Def pissing in the wind typical public service bullshit so as to not do anything about a situation because they know the people involved should be charged convicted and do jail time for murder really
I have made my submission. It was not polite. I am not inclined to waste good manners on the likes of that mob.
