The Death of Jane Hansen: May she RIP and may her life review go on for a good long time.
A leading figure in the fight to withhold the Truth About Vaccines is gone.
I take no pleasure in the knowledge that Jane died from Glioblastoma Multiforme - the same terrible cancer that killed my beloved oldest sister. But I do hold a belief that Jane’s unquestioning faith in the power of vaccines to prevent and cure virtually everything may have played a part in her contracting this illness. We will never know the truth.
My history with Jane goes back a long, long way. I’m not sure how long exactly, but at least 15 years.
I remember when she first came to my attention. I was giving a talk in the local area. Jane lived nearby and came under an assumed name to listen. She wrote a scathing article the next day about all of the ‘misinformation’ I’d been sharing and called the audience the Chardonnay set. Which was ironic because, though I didn’t know what she looked like at the time, one of my friends who did said she’d been drinking white wine throughout the evening.
I just thought it was sad that she would come all that way just to write a hit piece but obviously didn’t have the courage to speak out, ask questions or make her presence known.
The first article I could find that I’d written about Jane is available on the Wayback Machine here:
Jane Hansen and the Daily Telegraph-Stop the Smear Campaign and Tell Australian parents the truth for once!
I haven’t read this article for years. But felt it would be instructive to pull this little section out to demonstrate how Jane operated when she was ‘interrogating’ someone she considered to be an anti-vaxxer:
Q- Did you ring Chris Kokegei, the father of the boy who died of chicken pox, and tell him your views on vaccination?
Q- Was this necessary?
Since I’ve never heard of him, I can honestly say that I never called him. And if anyone wants my views on vaccination, they are available in almost 20 years of magazines, newsletters and website posts. Oh, and for your second question, was this necessary, great use of the loaded question fallacy, Jane. You are obviously a pro at this slander thing.
Q- He feels you, or someone from the AVN told him that he was doing society a disservice by discussing vaccination, is this true?
Sometimes when I’m sleeping, I feel as though the media and the government have somehow found a conscience. But then I wake up and I realise how silly that feeling is. How can someone possibly claim to feel that they were contacted by another person. Either they were or they weren’t. If they were, they should be able to say who the person was and what they said. If they can’t provide this evidence, then why are you even asking me these questions? Is it a slow news week, Jane?
There is also this blog post regarding an escalation in the hate and threats taking place after Jane Hansen published articles accusing myself and the members of our community of attacking the parents of a child who had died from whooping cough.
Jane Hansen must be so proud!
Be warned: Some of the correspondence in this article is both violent and uses foul language.
Jane’s ambush of the VaxXed Bus
The last time I saw Jane was when the VaxXed bus was in Newcastle Wollongong - sorry, I had the location wrong. I had just finished doing one of the most difficult interviews on the bus. A woman came on with her 18 or 19-year-old severely autistic son. He could be violent and was very impatient to go to the beach. She had been through the wringer with trying to care for him on her own and the interview necessarily had to be short because he was getting very anxious. I could just imagine what her life was like - dealing with this every day. The child she loved dearly was unreachable in almost every way you could imagine. The pain she felt showed clearly in her eyes and her words.
As soon as she left the bus, one of the volunteers came and told me that a group of people were setting up cameras, and when asked what they were doing, they said they were media.
I went out to find out what was happening and my friend Angela, who was also doing interviews on the bus, came with me and filmed the entire interaction. A filmmaker who is part of our community edited a bit of my ‘conversation’ with Jane and interspersed it with some of the many, many interviews that had taken place on the bus at that point in time.
What you see in the video below are some snippets of what happened.
I truly wish that Jane had arrived 15 minutes earlier so she could have met the mother and son I had just had on the bus. She could have told that family the vaccines had nothing to do with his autism and that they were perfectly safe and effective!
The final frame of this film is the most poignant. For Jane, it truly is too late to do the right thing.
A true believer
Some have said that Jane only did what she did because she worked for a Murdoch publication and it was required. I don’t believe that, however.
Jane was a true believer in the magic of medicine. No amount of information, data or science could sway her.
Someone shared this with me this afternoon. It illustrates a bit of what I’m saying:
Nobody will ever know if the jabs contributed to her cancer, but the fact is that more and more studies are now emerging showing a causal link between vaccines - especially the COVID experimental injections - and cancers.
And the chances are, that even if Jane had read these articles, she still would have chosen to take the jab because of her strong belief.
Keeping information from the public is a heinous act
The media has been - at least in recent decades - one of the most powerful and untrustworthy institutions in the world. It garnered the name, The Fourth Estate - in recognition of this power. It is an ironic moniker, considering how they have abused their power to the detriment of society.
The term "fourth estate" is used to describe the press. Describing journalists and the news outlets for which they work as members of the fourth estate is an acknowledgment of their influence and status among the greatest powers of a nation, the author William Safire once wrote.
The term goes back centuries when it applied to any unofficial group that wielded public influence, including a mob.
Jane was a true representative of that Estate, using the power of the press to withhold, twist, and censor information of a material nature. This could have helped those who read or heard what she had to say make informed decisions about vaccination.
They say it is not appropriate to speak ill of the dead, but I am simply telling the truth.
I have no malice in what I say. Nor do I hate Jane, though I must be honest and say that there were many times in the past when that wasn’t the case.
I feel very protective of those who have been victimised by our government, the medical community and the media. Jane Hansen was one of the leading abusers of that group.
Her tragic death will leave an unfillable hole in the lives of those who loved her. Just as the vaccine-induced deaths and injuries of those whose existence Jane always denied has done.
You have been an OUTSTANDING advocate for all the silenced, injured and dead. Thank you for your tireless efforts over these last few decades - your light shines BRIGHTLY 🙏💛✨
You were the first person I thought of when this story came through today Meryl and as predicted, you are as gracious as ever. This wasn't Newcastle though it was Wollongong, I know because I came the next day to share my story with you. I was grateful I wasn't booked in for the day before when this happened because I wouldn't have been nearly as gracious as you. Bless you Meryl, for all you've done and endured x
