Dear Meryl, I was sorry to hear about your eye problem and am so glad that the surgery went well. I wish you a complete recovery 🙏

I too am shortsighted - not severely, but I need lenses. I take Bilberry, which is very good for eyesight and also Gingko Biloba which is very good for peripheral circulation and circulation to the head (and hence, eyes).

Thankyou for sharing your experiences and reminding us to be very alert to what our bodies are telling us!

All the very best for your healing and recovery.

Dear Meryl - praying for you, and sharing something I read this morning.

Will you please read Psalm 94? Verse 20 says, "Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You?" That meant a lot to me when church leaders were blindly adopting all the mandates, and threatening to exclude any without the v. There are things in the psalm that you might relate to, in your long and courageous public battle, and now with your personal battle. I believe God is saying to us through the psalm, "I've got this."

Thank you for all you've done. Over twenty years ago I had a tetanus booster, and became weirdly unwell. I didn't know it wasn't just a tetanus jab, but DPT. I didn't know about informed consent, side effects, or reporting - and despite the medical roundabout of tests and and appointments there was no diagnosis, and consequently, there has been no effective treatment. The penny dropped on hearing an interview with Polly Tommey on the VAXXED bus in 2020.

It's been hard trying to let people know the risks, only to see them continue to trust the narrative. My mother died a year ago after a major stroke, fully believing, "safe and effective."

Ohh Meryl, that is so hard! Thanks for sharing. Hey, just a thought, I read this week on a Cindy Niles post last Monday was how LED lights can cause retinas to detach. I’m

Sorry I don’t have any further information yet. But I wonder if just having natural light as much as possible might be good during recovery.

Lots of love to you Meryl, from Miriam.

Hi Meryl, I'm so sorry to hear about this but I'm sure you will make a full recovery. I had the same thing happen to me in 2015! Yes it was like a curtain and I left it 3 full days before I went to the doctor at 2 pm on a Friday. They rushed me to surgery and I was going under at 7 pm. I think they will put a bubble in you eye and it will slowly evaporate and your sight will come back. I did have complications and had more surgery 6 months later. I have blurred vision in that eye now but the other eye is fine. I'm sure you won't have complications. I believe it was your vinegar. I had a very irritated eye a week or two before the detachment happened.

Best wishes and good luck with your surgery Meryl. Losing your vision will sharpen all the other senses and I’m sure you will regain a good part of your sight. My Mum 2 surgeries for detatched retinas last year. Healing has been a little slow but she is on the mend and cheerful again.

Hi Meryl,

Sorry to hear about your trouble. Use this time to get to know that God you talked about, He is only a prayer away and His love is like the ocean. You can see it from a distance, you can put your toe in, or you can dive in head first! The latter way is so much more refreshing. With Easter coming up, reflect on the cross and what it really means for humanity. God bless you and heal you! 🙏😊

Hoping all goes brilliantly for the surgery and recuperation. Enjoy the downtime, listen to classical music, listen to the wind in the trees, be at peace and allow your body to heal.

Sending you ‘good vibes’ and positivity for a full recovery, Meryl.

I inherited keratoconus (that’s when the cornea is conical) and had “bottle glasses” at the age of 8. At 14 I was told that I would probably be blind by 21, but I became an artist and calligrapher anyway. I had to give away those things eventually, including driving, but still manage well with a little help here and there. We face so many terrifying prospects, but few ever really happen. Never imagine the worst, but foresee the best.
