Time To School The School Nurses | The Thinking Moms' Revolution.

This is a great blog about what happened when one mum took simple, gentle and non-confrontational action to protect her child's rights. Upon receiving information from her child's school stating that if her kids weren't vaccinated, the couldn't attend school and knowing that this information was wrong, she wrote to the principal and the response was surprising even to her.

There was an immediate willingness to ensure that misinformation would not be sent out again in the future and the school nurse actually wanted to know more about this parent's own situation and her child's vaccine injury.

A bridge was built, a promise was made on the part of the school to be better-informed themselves and to make an effort to be more informative towards parents in the future.
