What a great way to test medications - NOT! This is just another medical rort. We need to know how big an effect placebos have (and it's rare enough for there to be a true placebo in the first place!) because if placebos are more effective then the drug that is being tested (as is the case for most SSRIs - amongst the most commonly-prescribed medications being used today), then why should we be using the drug with its high cost and potential for harm?
