If someone is going to tell me that my children HAVE to be vaccinated - by law (and thank goodness, that isn't the situation in Australia yet though students in allied health and hospital workers are not given an option) - they had better have damned good evidence that the vaccines work and are safe. The problem is - vaccine research is driven by a huge amount of money and that money will only keep flowing as long as the acceptance level remains high. We have a vicious circle and no regulation which is not a great combination. This article breaks down the issue and explains why it is that we need to be asking more questions about this procedure and not making decisions about vaccination until we get real, valid answers that haven't been tainted by pharmaceutical big bucks.
