For years and years, Dr Phelps, who acknowledged the importance of diet and exercise to good health and the use of supplements and some other natural therapies as treatment options, was completely opposed to anyone who questioned the vaccine mantra.

It was not uncommon to have her attack me on Twitter or Facebook - especially when I referred to the AMA (which she was head of for a time) and their inability to examine this issue fairly or from the science.

So, it was with a bit of shock that I read the following article from news.com.au:

It appears that Dr Phelps and her wife have both suffered severe reactions following the administration of COVID jabs. Not only that, but they have run up against the same wall of denialism the rest of the vaccine-injured have had to face for decades!

Former federal MP Dr Kerryn Phelps has revealed she and her wife both suffered serious and ongoing injures from Covid vaccines, while suggesting the true rate of adverse events is far higher than acknowledged due to underreporting and “threats” from medical regulators.

In an explosive submission to Parliament’s Long Covid inquiry, the former Australian Medical Association (AMA) president has broken her silence about the “devastating” experience — emerging as the most prominent public health figure in the country to speak up about the taboo subject.

Whilst I applaud Dr Phelps and her wife for having the courage to go public with their injuries, I wonder if somewhere in the back of their minds…even way, way far back…if they remember when they used to deride and attack anyone who questioned the safety and efficacy of vaccinations, calling them anti-vaxxers and worse?

Does this experience make them consider that perhaps they should have paid attention to us at the time? Maybe then, they wouldn’t both be suffering such terrible consequences today?
