UK Magistrate has been sacked for not toeing the party line
This is what it's going to have to take: high profile Individuals standing in their truth!
Now, keep in mind that, unlike Australia, the UK has a guaranteed freedom of political speech. Yet Magistrate Karia McCallum was sacked for daring to say what she believed rather than parrot what the government instructed her to say.
This is according to an article in the UK Law Gazette.
The Judicial Conduct Investigations Office said that Kaira McCallum had been found to have ‘associated herself publicly with activity in relation to the government’s response to the Covid pandemic’.
McCallum, who sat on cases at Westminster Magistrates Court, was also found to have aggravated her conduct by referring publicly to her judicial status.
At a time when censorship, institutional bullying and outright lies from authorities worldwide are the order of the day, it’s refreshing to see someone with a high profile choosing their conscience above their career!
In much the way that Dr Kerryn Phelps’ recent announcement about her and her wife’s COVID jab reactions has started to give others the courage to speak out, this Magistrate may soon find more following her lead.
The article went on to state that:
They also took into account that Miss McCallum had failed to acknowledge her actions were in any way improper for a judicial office-holder.’
McCallum is listed online as a member of the UK Medical Freedom Alliance, holding itself out as a group of healthcare professionals, scientists and lawyers campaigning for informed consent and medical choice. (emphasis added. If you are campaigning for informed consent and medical choice, it’s obvious you are just a bunch of ratbags and deserve to lose your jobs, right?)
She was one of the signatories to a claim made to the International Criminal Court in 2021 relating to the government’s handling of the pandemic and its promotion of the Covid vaccines.
I salute all truth-tellers - all those with the courage to do what’s right over what is expedient.
This is a sign of desperation on the government’s part.
