Thank you, Meryl. I appreciate the efforts to test, measure and find solutions so you can keep us connected as a community. You rock!

Thank you so much, Happy! It was a VERY long process - much longer than I expected. But the end is in sight…

Great news, Meryl and well done. Privacy matters. Meanwhile, thank you for all that you do. Your work is very much appreciated.

Thank you, Christiena! I have just had a 2 ½ hour run through on Ghost (my brain is fried!) and it is indeed as secure and private as anything on the internet can be. I’m glad I waited to move until someone was available to help me make it happen! :-)

I quite understand the 'fried brain' syndrome! Technology has moved so fast it is very difficult to keep up, let alone all the freedom of speech issues hitting us all from every side. I've been looking up Ghost and don't really understand it! You have done extraordinarily well! All the very best in all your endeavours. Thanks a lot, Meryl.

Huge well done! 🥰

Have you yet tried buying and driving a new car or getting a new washing machine? Only automatics with electronic handbrakes.... Using almost no water and cold at that....net zero run amok 🙃🥲

Meryl Dorey's avatar

Yes, it makes me want to guzzle petrol, to be honest…I hate everything about net zero and all those who fly on private jets and eat their fill of expensive meat whilst telling us what we can and cannot do!

Hooray glad you have moved

I’m with you Meryl, thanks for taking us with you. I found that I didn’t have to verify anything with your Substack, anything that comes through to my Telstra email lets me go straight to the site. But! With my ProtonMail email account, you know, the supposedly private & encrypted one, if I click on the “like” or “comment” on an article icon it won’t open Substack but tells me the page won’t load & hello! I must verify my age suddenly. What’s with that? I’ve found I’m now turned off even those articles from other sources that arrive in my so called protected email because of this roundabout I refuse to get on. Sometimes, if there’s a video in it, I can click on that & get into the article. Go figure!

Strangely, when we used to subscribe to Epoch Times we’d not get all our paid for content. After going through them to find out what happened, the fellow we spoke with said Telstra blocks Epoch News from getting to subscribers & we need to do this & that to fix it on the Telstra site. Ah, yeah, nah. There was no way to fix it only to unsubscribe from ET. And, that was before e-Karen got to work on all of this.

I don’t blame you for jumping the Substack ship, and so as the water’s fine, I’m swimming with you in a better pool.

Thanks Meryl, for your perseverance and tenacity, your love of righteousness for humanity & your dogged determination to make this work.

Yes, the insane thing is that I have not been asked to verify by the platforms where that is required - Facebook, X, etc - but Substack, which is not required to verify, is taking a very hard line indeed. One has to wonder why and who they are actually working for?

Well done ! I'll see you on the over side 😀

That's why these were created lmfao. Don't be foolish citizens

No thanks. Anything to get the people over to another platform. This was doesn't have government control nor does the new pickax.
