Thanks for this post, Meryl. I think it's timely to challenge the Australians busy with the "Lest We Forget" Day, and point out the hypocrisy behind remembering some of the fallen, but censoring and changing the subject when others are mentioned.
So beautiful and tragic at the same time. May God look down upon us in mercy and forgiveness and hear the prayers of the many who have fought the good fight for so long.
I’ve been helping JIA edit some of these heart wrenching stories. Forest of the Fallen is such a wonderful idea to create awareness. It’s all so very very poignant. 😞 😢
