Thank you for this interview! Its sad how the industry has brainwashed us to believe all of this and then we put our own children through it! I don’t know about anyone else out there but with everything I have been learning and NOW understanding the guilt follows me everywhere knowing that I may have contributed to my children’s illnesses that they have now. My youngest (now 29) had horrible ear infections as a small child. My middle daughter, questioning if she really had epilepsy or if those seizures were actually caused by her vaccinations. Just horrible knowing this!
Another comment I want to throw into the mix here is to remember the vaccinations are pets receive are just like the ones we humans receive just not as large of a dose. Fortunately, I was aware of this so my kitties did not get all vaccinations, I was reported because I refused, but as i would remind them, my kitties were indoor cats and I kept their litter box extremely clean and did the same with their water and well the food? Hard to say. But I just had my last Ragdoll cat live to be 17 years 10 months and 5 days, which for that breed is probably pretty good since (I don’t know why) they are susceptible to Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. I believe my first Ragdoll passed early (she was 3) because of all the vaccines and I wasn’t aware. But the 2nd time around I got in touch with a breeder who knew better and told me about the damage the vaccines could do.
Funny how hindsight is 20/20! Especially when my mother was a dog groomer in a veterinarian hospital!
Well done again, Meryl. In the inch by painful inch of getting answers, informing parents and the greater community, of this diabolical travesty…. You’ve travelled hundreds of miles!
And hats off to Russel Broadbent for finding his voice in an effort to bring broader community & political awareness also.
