Musk's bid for Twitter is successful-what will that mean?

Elon Musk, the World’s richest man and the person who has been working on a device through his company, Neuralink, which he says will allow us to control computers with our thoughts and will network all humans together in the Internet of Bodies, has successfully purchased Twitter. Apparently, he has done this to bring back free speech to this social media platform which proudly practices censorship of any views not approved by the Ministry of Truth.

Musk has taken Twitter private which means that he has purchased all publicly-held shares - at a premium - and the shareholders have sold their rights to have a say in what Twitter does or does not do.

With his purchase, Musk will now become privy to the algorithms used by Twitter to decide what speech would be allowed and who would be cancelled. This knowledge was more closely-held than just about any government military or nuclear secrets and its potential release has been causing a great deal of panic amongst those who have benefited from the suppression of truth.

Rumman Chowdhury who joined recently joined Twitter as the AI Team Research Director in order to, “…make changes to Twitter's AI algorithm to make it more in line with ethical guidelines.”¹, tweeted about Musk’s takeover attempt:

Rebel News, in an article published on 8th April, 2022, noted that Musk who was then seeking a position on the Board of Twitter, was welcomed by many in the free speech community but greatly feared by Twitter employees who had, for years, been able to freely censor those with opposing viewpoints.

Control of Twitter was apparently so vital, Vanguard Group, one of the two corporations thought by many to comprise a large portion of the ‘evil empire’ intent on owning and controlling the world, emerged as a competitor in the war for ownership. But ultimately, it was Elon Musk who was able to assemble the funding for the winning bid.

Whether Musk really will bring back free speech or not - and he claims that he will allow all legal speech on Twitter - and urges his critics to remain on the platform - remains to be seen.

But if he is able to change the dialogue, returning free speech to the public square, and if the censors can’t control what goes on in one of the largest and most influential social media outlets in the world, Musk’s latest purchase can truly be a game-changer of epic proportions.
