I watched a YT video yesterday by a biochemist who warned about "natural supplements" citing a case where a pregnant women took them and was poisoned by lead and other heavy metals. She at least mentioned they were bought from a supplier in China, dispensed in small baggies with felt pen writing on them, and not from any regulated site or pharmacy, and suggested any supplements came from a reputable manufacturer. But the seeds of doubt are being related on social media.
